How do I pay for the ZipCube?

When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of the month
Are there minimums?
We have a one month minimum on storage rental; however, you do not need to be in storage for a full month. Special rates are offered for 6 months or longer, our most economical option.
Do you pro-rate for unused days?
Yes, you only ultimately get charged for the days you are in storage (beyond the one month minimum)
Do you charge for delivery?
Yes. Delivery charges vary depending on the locations where you want to load or unload your ZipCube. You are always welcome to move-in or out of storage at our local storage facility, which is free.
Do I need to know how long I will be in storage?
No, you can keep your items in storage for as long as you want. When you are ready to move out of storage, just give us a call to set up a re-delivery or an access at our storage facility. We pro-rate back to you whatever portion of a month that you do not use, so you only pay for the days you are in storage.

How big is a ZipCube?
5ft wide x 8ft long x 7ft tall, offering 280 cubed feet of space.
What fits into a ZipCube?
About 1 – 1 ½ rooms worth or residential items, or 2,000lbs. Please refer to our interactive space estimator or cube chart.
Do I need to purchase a city parking permit or reserve space in front of my home or office?
No, the ZipCube will not be dropped and left for several days. We bring the cubes to you when you want to spend some time loading, and then they go into a secure storage storage facility that same day.
What if I need help loading my ZipCube?
We have a partnership with several local licensed movers based to provide assistance to our customers during cube loading. When you call to make an appointment for a cube loading window, our moving and storage specialist can provide you with all the details. Special pricing for ZipCubes customer is available.
About Storage and Access:
How do I access my ZipCube?
Since we store the ZipCubes in a storage facility that the public can’t access, we ask for 48hr advance notice, so that we can put the cube into the access area of our storage facility. Once in the access area, you can drive right up to the ZipCube to access your cube. This access is free. As an alternative, we can also bring your ZipCube out to you for an “onsite access”. Fees vary depending on location.
Can you re-deliver my ZipCube to another state?
Yes, we can arrange delivery of your cube to most areas in the country. Please contact us online, or call us at 415-982-1508 for pricing and details.
